Product description

La Bassine Standard birthing pool is the preferred choice among expectant parents in Denmark – and the world's best-selling birthing pool. It is loved for its comfort, durability, and ease of use, and is recommended by midwives for its thoughtful design that creates a secure environment for a calm and natural birthing experience.

Designed for your comfort and freedom of movement
La Bassine birthing pool is equipped with stable, inflatable sides that provide perfect support when you need to rest, along with a soft, inflatable base that ensures optimal comfort – even when kneeling during birth. The pool has ample space for one person, and the two practical interior handles make it easy to change positions and move around in the water as needed.

With an electric pump, the pool is quickly inflated and ready for use in minutes, allowing you to focus on your birth.

You can additionally purchase accessories perfectly tailored to La Bassine's pool, such as liners that make cleaning easy, and covers that retain heat in the water, so you don't constantly have to adjust the temperature.

Safe and thoughtful design
The pool's transparent sides allow the midwife and birth helpers to closely monitor the birth while you maintain a sense of intimacy and control. The design supports your natural movement and helps create a relaxed atmosphere that promotes the body's production of oxytocin – the hormone that aids in driving the birth forward.

Safety and sustainability in focus
La Bassine birthing pool is made of heavy-duty, BPA- and phthalate-free vinyl that meets strict safety standards to ensure there are no harmful substances in the material. The pool is incredibly durable and can be used multiple times, making it a sustainable choice for multiple births.

La Bassine birthing pool is the ideal choice for those seeking a gentle, natural, and safe water birth experience.
