The pad is designed so that one side is fluffy wool like sheepskin, while the other side is smooth. But unlike a sheepskin, there is no leather underside to restrict breathability.

Tip: Turn the fluffy surface up when it’s cold, and the smooth side up when the weather is warmer.

Your baby can easily lie directly on the soft wool. If your child has very wool-sensitive skin, you can still enjoy the benefits. Just place a regular sheet over the wool cover. That way, you get the best of both worlds.
